The Centrist Democracy Political Institute organized a national conference and workshop entitled “Towards a Social Market Economy on the Future Federal States” last 21-22 October 2016 at the City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City. LOGODEF Executive Director, Edmund Tayao delivered a lecture about the Socio-Political Impacts of Social Market Economy on the Future Federal States.

Local Government Development Foundation (LOGODEF)-Political Reform Exponents of the Philippines (PREP) and PDP-Laban Federalism Institute held a study group meeting at Top of the Citi by Chef Jessie, Makati City on 21 October 2016. Foreign experts on decentralization and federalism from Finland, Australia and Nepal were invited and asked to give insights on the ongoing initiative pushing for much needed political and structural reforms in the country. National Trainers’ Training on Federalism

The Department of Interior and Local Government held a seminar about the basics of Federalism entitled National Trainers’ Training on Federalism at the DILG NAPOLCOM Center last October 14, 2016. The event was part of a lecture series about Federalism initiated by the DILG Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte – People’s National Movement for Federalism, which intends to further bring down the concept of Federalism to the Filipino people. This was attended by several Local Government Unit representatives from various parts of the country who would later be on the message-carriers of Federalism.
